(by electric telegraph-copyright) London, October 25. Mb W. H. Mepobr, of the Colonial office, who accompanied Mr Sanford Fleming to Hawaii, to negotiate for the landing place of the. Pacific cable on Necker Island, asked for a lease of the island and a Hawaiian subsidy of £7601) for fifteen years. .He made an offer to lay the cable to Honolulu; and make the public rate Is per word,' with a lower rate for the press and Government work, conditional on Hawaii ceding the island to Great Britain in'the event of the United States annexing Hawaii.. It is now reported' that Hajwaii is, willing to consider the matter if a lower subsidy is accepted, and the provision of the cession of.the island deleted. ■
