At the Limbeth Police Court on Feb, 2i Kate. Page, thirty a well woman, dcwibVd'as married,! of An«tey-j road, East Dulwich. was charered before Mr. Biron, Q.C.. with . breaking l teri squares of glass at No. 08, Anstev-rad, value %»*., the property of John H. Cuthbert. The prosecutor' was a clerk, said ; the prisoner lived in the house adjoining; that which he occupied List night, 1 whilst he was sitting writing letters, the prisoner threw a number of missiles at the windows and -broke them. .The prisoner said she had taken a child of theirs which they sold her for £2O, and she asked the proseciitor for some money that hi* wife owed her. The c'lild, the defpndant added, was sold to her for .£2O —£lo down and £1 per month, She had a-receipt. ; in the prosecutor's wife's writingl. The prosecutor said he had 'no child. Mr. Biron suggested that it might 1, be the wife's child. The prosecutor said he knew nothing about it. Mr. Biron (to the prisoner): Whether there was 1 this bargain about .the child or not, it i* .perfectly clear that you broke the windows. The prosecutor said the prisoner had threatened all the people in liis house. It was dangerous to live next to her. Mr. Biron finad the prisoner ss. and 2ik the damage done, or fourteen days' imprison-.-merit. . ■ . . '
