Dorin'o the recent visit of the Premier to Cambridge, one of the matters brought' under' his notice • by the Waikato Farmers' Club, was the desirableness 'of ! selling fat-cittlc by live wight, and they, suggested that legislation, should be introduced making this method of selling compulsory. Mr Seddori in reply pointed out that the matter was not one requir- 1 inglegislitionas it ky entirely in the farmers'hands, and if they all made up there minds to have their fat stock sold over the weighbridge the auctioneers of necessity would have ;, to' do so, and in this matter Ware' u at"one'"with the Premier.,., We are referring to this subject now as we have .just received from Mr "John 1).
