(by elkctrio telegraph-copyright.) March 5. A letter from one of the New Australia settlers states that as the fundamental rules are not to be enforced until a certain number of immigrants arrive, Lane, the founder of the colony, has in the meantime assumed dictatorial power. Another writer says three members have been turned away for breaking the rules, and about twenty others who sympathised with them left at the same time. Adelaide, March 5. The Registrar publishes a letter from New Australia, the writer of which says: "There is no denying that there are two distinct parties in the settlement, and the feeling is growing mora bitter every day.
