In the couise of an interview he said his firm had had large transactions with Australia and New Zealand, but the firm had cut its ( connection with New Zealand, owing to farmers selling large quantities of cheese ,to buyers whose object was to make something on the sale to London merchants. He said his visit was chiefly in connection with thebutter trade.
