Ward arrived by the Manapouri to-night, but it is donbtful it he will be able to address a meeting, as he has a lnrgs •mount of departmental business to-morrow, It is also doubtful if he can delay his departure beyond Monday, (by telegraph,-press association,) Wellington, Last Night. Sir Pal rick Buckley had intended leaving for England via 'Frisco, but he has de* cided to wait for a full Cabinet meeting, The Minister for Ltnds is expected hero on Sunday. The present intention of the Premier is tn stay in Wellington till he goes home for his Christmas holidays, / Mr Ward goes to Auckland and returns here on Wednesday. _ Mr Reeves is expected from Christchurch in a few days. ; .
