His speeeh was mainly a repetition of the Cape Foulwind i address. lie expressed. ft strong objection to Sir Robert Stout's candidature, and received 'a vote of confidence, „ . ~ ... Mr Reeves, ex-M.H.H., addressed the Charleston electors, on Wednesday, in favour of Sir R. Stout, followed in tho same strain. A motion was carried unanimously expressive of conndence, in Sir R. Stout, and sympathy with Mr Keevos,
