Ms Skddon', in the absence of the Premier mi Tuesday, announced that the Governinent hart decided to drop the following Bills :—Land Transfer Act Amendment, Public Works Act Amendment, Laud Drainage, Stock, Unclaimed Moneys, Wellington Fruit-growing Association, K Ideation Reserves, Inspection of Building Appliances, .Boarding and Lodging-houses, Companies' Branch Register, Laboui Department, Civil Service, Native Lund Court, Manual and Technical Elementary Instruction, Cofllin Moth, Shipping Act Amendment, Municipal Corporations, Adulteration Prevention Act Amendment, Civil Service Officers' Guarantee, Hawkers and Pedlars, Noxious Weeds. He moved that those Bills be discharged from the order paper. With respect U tiie Criminal Code Bill, New Zealand I istit.ito of Surveyors Bill, and the Libel Bill, he thought some progress might be made with thoso measures, and as to the Government Railways Bill, it would depend on the course of business whether the Government would proceed with it nr not.
