Figaro by Gil Bias, out of Flora Mclvor (Flora Mclvnr the dam ot Frailty, the dam of Trenton, Cuirassier tfce. Phoenix, dam of St. Patrick, was a good performer. In 1575 she won the Pahautanui Stakes at Wellington, beating a large field, also the Consolation at Mastertou. Ran second to Cocksure for the Hutt Park Stakes, and third for the Provincial Plate, being beaten by Fishhook and Pungawerewere (both Dunedin Cup winners). St. Patrick is a beautiful dark chestnut, standing over l(j hands, with grand bone and good temper.
