THE DOBSON-KENNEDY COMPANY
♦ THE LANCASHIRE LASS. This talented and popular dramatic and comedy company will appear in the Public Hall, Hamilton, on Saturday evening, when Byron's sensational drama, " The Lancashire Lass," will be staged for the first time in Hamilton. It had been the intention of the management to put on Boucicanlt's Irish drama, "The Shaughraun," but as this piece has already been performed on several occasions in Hamilton, it has been replaced by " The Lancashire Las*." Referring to the production of this play by the DnbsonKonedy Company an exchange says :—" On Saturday night the DobsonKennedy Company produced H. J. Byron's wellknown sensational drama and in it they achieved v. very decided success. From the rising of the curtain until the last words were spoken the piece proceeded without the slightest friction and to the manifest satisfaction of the audience. The piece bristles with striking situations and exciting incidents, all of which were utilised to their fullest extent and the audience followed the gradual unfolding of the plot with the greatest attention."
On Monday, " Hans the Boatman " will be profonned, and on Friday, the 30th, "Little. L«rd Fauntleroy." The prices are 3s and 2s, and re'erved seat* can be obtained at Mr Mannine's.
