Figaro by Gil Bias, out of Flora Mclvor (Flora Mulvor the dam ot Frailty, the dam of Treuton, Cuirassier, &c. Phoenix, dam of St. Patrick, was a good performer In 1875 she won the Pahautanui Stakes at Wellington, beating a large field, also the Consolation at Masterton. Ran second to Cocksure for the Hutt Park Stakes, and third for the Provincial Plate, being beaten by Fislihook ami Pungawerewere (both Duucdin Cup winners). St. Patrick is a beautiful dark chestnut, standing over 1U hands, with jrraud bone and good temper. He has been shown nix times, taking six first prizes, including Hawke's Bay aud Cambridge last year, as an entire forgetting carriage horses.
