Jones, the Sydney cricketer, was about to embavk last night on his way home, but the boatmen lost their way in Plymouth harbour. Jones, who is in a precarious state of health,- was kept in the harbour in an open boat all night, and suffered a severe chill from exposure. The Stock Exchange is still excited. Colonial stocks remain unchanged at nominal figures, and are quite unsaleable. Brokers suggest that the colonial Governments should sell Treasury bills instead of floating loans at present.
