The report was agreed to, and the Council resumed at 5 o'clock, when the assent of the Governor to the measures passed during the session was received, and the proceedings were brought to a close. A message was received from the Legislative Council returning the Native Land Laws Amendment Bill, which, therefore, was finally passed.

Mr Mitchelson moved that the House at its rising adjourn till that day week. Agreed to by JiO to 8.

On the Speaker resuming the chair at 3 p.m. the Governor's assent to the Appropriation P.ills was received and the House adjourned.
