Again a large crowd assembled at the Wharf at five o'clock to-night when the free labourers left work. Between three and four hundred special constables supported tlie police in maintaining order and escorting the men to their homes. The proceedings were very orderly, with the exception of a little hooting. The authorities have decided not to call out the whole of the special constables in future but only I,wo or three detachments each evening.

Several more storemen have returned to work to-day and six others will follow. Worlt at the wharves is being carried 011 quietly and without any disturbance. Several witnesses were positive that the accused Daley, McGeray, Morrison and Sinclair, were at the Wilson's road all'ray, while other witnesses believed that Green, Buckley and McDonald were there, Three witnesses, 11011 Unionists, swore that Green and Buckley assaulted the non-Unionists.
