The cricket match between the Austra. lians and the Cambridge and Oxford Universities, past and present, begun at Portsmouth to-day. Blackham and Urwrory are not playing in this match. The Universities' team went in first, but after scaring 3(1 without the loss of a wicket, rain put a stop to the piny. Later. Tho combined Universities put a fairly strong team in the field. Pope is playing f.ir the Australians. Tho University total wns 233. Lacoy niado 41) and Macgregor 53.
