Buckland and Sons' Weekly RiiPOBT. —At the Haymarket during the past week fodder has ruled low ; prices have ranged from Is !)d to 2s (id per cwt; wheat, 2s lid ; maize, 3s Id to 3s 2d ; oats, 1b 9d to 2* Id per bushel ; onions, per lb ; best chaff, £3 5s per ton. At the sals on Friday horses maintained the improved value of the previous week ; heavy draught brought from £13 to £20 ; useful light harness and riding horses, from 7 to 10 guineas each. At the hide and skin sale on Tuesday late prices were fully sustained ; best ox hides ranged froin to ssd ; ordinary ox hides, 3d to 3Jd ; cow hides, lid to 2Jd; • calfskins, 4d per* lb ; loose fat, Id to per lb; butchers' sheepskins, 3s to 5s j station skins. Is 9d to 4s 6d each ; wool, 7d to 7id per lb. At the cattle sale, held at Pukekohe on Monday, there was a full muster of stock of all classes, with a largs attendance. Fat cattle were dull of sale ; all others in fair enquiry. At Reuiuera, on Thursday, dairy cattle were yarded numerously. Those at their profit were fairly competed for at late values; backward springers at comparatively low values. Store cattle m demand at full values. Horses : The demand has been good, and although a larger supply than usual was brought forward, purchasers wore forthcoming, and sales were effected at fully late values. There was a good muster at the Durham Yards on Tuesday, and as a large proportion of the horses were strangers there was a large attendance of buyers, and spirited competition. Prices fluctuated a good deal, but on the whole were in favour of vendors as compared with the previous week's values. There was a modemte vnuster at the Newmarket Yards on Tuesday, and good bidding throughout, but there was little or no alteration in values.
