THE ZALINSKI GUN.
A SUCCESSFUL TRIAL. (BV ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH.—COPYRIGHT.) London, May 27. The Zalinski gun was tested at Westpoint to-day, when it achieved a range of 4,100 feet, which is GOO feet in excess ot that specified in the contract. An eight inch projectile containing lOOlbs. of dynamito was fired.
