Wklmn'GTON , , Friday. Joseph Burn, an old settler, who died on Tuesday, bequethed £2,000 to the Society fur the relief of the aged and needy, £1,000 to the Benevolent Institution, and £1,000 for the support and maintenance of the AleNandra Home for friendless women.
It is understood that the Cabinet have decided the question of the vacancy on the Supreme Court Bench, but the name of the gentlemen selected was not made known, as negotiations between him and the Premier, are still being carried on.
