(BY teleokapu—own correspondent.) Auckland, Monday. A MAN named Edgar Dyer, while excavating the foundation for a house at Cox's Creek, found prospects of gold in the sandstone. Rudolph Hitter, a settler at the Three Kings, is missing. He is supposed to be lost in the direction of the Waitakerei ranges. The steamship Doric has arrived.
