Mi.=s Edith Mary Rhodes, second daughter of the late Mr R. H. Rhodes, waa married at Merivale Church, to-day, to Mr A lister Clark, of Victoria. The Rev. T. Flavil performed the ceremony, which was visited by a crowded and fashionable congregation. Ur. Coward, for many years coroner here, died yesterday, aged 73. Ho has been for several years medical officer to the gnol, luniilic asylum unci police, and a member of the Hoard of Governors of Canterbury College. BLENHEIM, Monday.
Andrew Croadis, agod 80, was fouund dead this morning. He used to be a survey hand, and was the only survivor of the famous VVairau massacre in 1843. He had led a vagabond life, preferring to the last knocking about alone.
