PAINFUL SUICIDE.
[by TKr,KcnArn—vrkss assooiatiox.l MasTKUTOX, Monday. A painful case of supposed suicide by drowning occurred at Mangamahoo. Annie Kate Lang, wife of a Masterton settler, had been engaged nursing at Mangainahoe. She left the houeo I here on Friday morning, and not returning a solijcli party was instituted and found her slippers on the bank of a river yosterday, three miles from the house. The river was dragged and tho body was recovered.
