HAMILTON ROAD BOARD.
Tub monthly meeting of the Hamilton Road Board was held on Saturday, Mr W. Jones in the chair, —it was resolved, that the resolution of the 2nd June last, viz., " That the rate for period commencing Ist April, 1888, and ending March 31st, 1889, on all rateable property in the Road District payable in one sum on and after Ist August bo gd in the £," be rescinded. —Resolved, "That the intention of the Board to strike a. rate of M in the £ on all rateable property in the Road District be publicly notified."—Resolved, "That Mr Livingstone inspect the road through Stokes' Bush and report thereon at the next meeting."—" Resolved, "That the Olerk write to the different Hoards in the Waipa County to ask each of the Boards to appoint a delegate to attend a meeting to be held at Ohuupo on the 7th August to consider the matter of dual rating."—A few small accounts were passed for paymept,
