The general opinion is that the .Ministry will be reconstructed, Dr. llenwick succeeding Mr Dibbs as Colonial Secretary. Mr Dibbs attended at the Colonial Secretary's of lice to-day as usual. A rrived : The mail steamer Zealandia. The Rotomahana sailed this afternoon for Auckland. Uobaht, January 13. Messrs Hazel and Hodgkins, the delegates for the London Emigration Bureau, leave here to-day for New Zealand. Adelaide, January 13. The Warden of Teetulpa reports that many men arc turning their attention to the reefs, as the washings are poor. (Received January 11th, 12.50 a.m.) Melbourne, January 14. The Victorian banks, acting in concert with those of other colonies, including New Zealand, but not Queensland, will shortly reduce the rate of interest on deposits by one per cent.
