Messrs W. J. Hcntkii \.\i> Co. Report— At tho private sale of Messrs Ellis Bros., Orakau, there was a largo attendance of buyers, and everything sold at satisfactory prices. For homes there was keen competition, and fully an advance ««f •'is p-r head in some instances was given over Cambtuige prices. Medium draughts made £lv 10*, £18, £20, £23, and £27 10s ; waggon, £10 ; ewes, Us Gd ; lambs, 5s Gd each. At Cambridge on Thursday, March 4th, the yards were well 611 ed with both fat and store cattle. There was good competition, ond nearly all were sold. Three-year-old steers, £5 Is ; three-year-old empty hmfers, £3 to £3 10s ; fat cows and heifers, £4 to £4 10-.. At Cambridge Horse Yards, on March 1(>, only a limited number of horses were brought forward. There was but very little demand, and few nold.
