COLONIAL WINES. London, March 11.
The Colonial Agents-General interviewed Sir William Vernon Harcourt, Chancellor of the Exchequer, on Tuesday last on the subject of the reduction of duties on colonial wines coining into England. Mr Holdsworth thinks it probable that a reduction will be made from 2s 6d per gallon to Is 9d.
