Mr Henry Labouchore, member for Northanpton, brought forward a notice, having for its object the abolition of the hereditary principle in the House of Lords. Mr (llndstono, speaking on the subject, stated Her Majesty's Gmernmcnt reuog nised the necessity for lefurin in the Uppei House.
