Buckland Reform:—At the Cambridge Cattle Sale on Thursday there was ii large attendance of buyers, and a much larger mrnber of cattle than usual, the greater portion being sold at fair values. Dairy cows sold at £5 12s Cd to £«; yearling to 18-months steers, £2 9* to £2 15<«; fro-sh, young empty cows, £2 10s to £3 2s 6d ; 18 two-and-a-half to three year steers, £4 fw; six fat cows, good quality, £3 ; three fat cowh, good quality, £5 5s ; fat sheep, 7" 6d to 9s Gd each. At the sale of implements &c, at 3 o'clock same day, bidding was brisk, and nil lots offered found purchasers. The following are some of the principal «ales effected : Root pulper, £5; Cambtidge roller, £12 ss; smooth iron roller, £8 15s ; soed sowers, £9 and £9 5s ; mowing machine, £11 ss; ti-troe cutter, £5 ; dr«y, £0 ; spring cart, £0 7s 6d ; horse rake, £4 s>; disc barrows, £3 17« 6d; reaper and bindor, £3 15s; reaper and binder, £<>; four sets harrows £2 5* to £3 15-t the sat. Private sale* during the wo*k wore: 400 2-tooth Lincoln ewes, 10i 6d each; 1003 ciws-b'e'l, frmh, full-m>uth ewes, 7« 3d each ; 10D enwj brsd wethers, 7s 6d each; 100 cross-bred wethers, 8s Gd each; GO fat ewes, 10s each; horse-power chaffcutter and crusher, £35; pair plough horses, £30; hacks, £8 15s, £13, £15 and £13 respectively.
