Paekoa, Friday. Waihi. RoSEMOUNT.— The reef in the winze beneath the level is over 2ft. wide, showing well for gold and silver. Mabtha Extended. — The contractors for the low level extension have given up work. Water is very nhort at the battery. Silvkhton.— Good quartz isbeinggrassed, and the reef is improving as it is. sunk upon. UNirKix— Prospecting is being proceeded with.
Karangahake. Rose.— Good dirt ia coming from the stopes. Scotia.— A parcel is being bagged for the Thames smelter. Adelaide.— The reef i-> being sunk upon the top level. Work is stopped in the low level. A bailiff's agent has been put in the La Monte furnace, but it will make no difference to its starting.
