TRAGEDY IN LONDON.

It appeals that a, young man named James Williams, 18 yeais of age, and living with his parents and the deceased girl at 8, Shorid.m street, St George's, has not been on good terms with hir> sifter owing to an alleged giievance. The quart el was renewed on Wednesday and 1 cached its height about half-past one on Thursday morning, when Williams who is a volunteer, loaded his rifle and deliberately aimed at his sister's head. Tho bullet took effect, wounding the unfortunate girl in the head and side of the face. She fell on the ground, and an alarm being rai>ed a police officer arrived and ai rested Williams,. A doctor was then cent for, and on his* ai rival he advised Mm girl's hnuipdiate removal to the London Hospital. This was done, but .she never rallied, and died about nine o'clock on Thursday morning. Williams was then chaiged with the murder of his sister by Inspector Quin, of tho H Division, and he admitted having fired at her.
