Crowds of roughs assembled tins morning at Trafalgar Square and the vit-inity, but were easily dispersed. The* jewellers' shops, however, remained closed in anticipation of further violence. Public opinion generally blames the police for their inaction in the face of the riotous proceedings of yesterday.
