MY ALBUM.
Bright jewels I have gathered together Of flowers and leaves, Brave violets of open spring weather, And rich autumn sheaves. Lush loses and woodbine and pansy And odorous musk, That steals on the senses and fancy At dawn and at dusk. Here a ro flowers of all hues, blue and crimson, White, scarlet and gold ; Chaste lily that quiet streams swims on And red daisies bold. Though my bouquet is rare, to complete it One flower I need. Whatever it be I shall gteet it, Exotic or weed. Whatever its odour I care not, Whatever its hue. I shall bind it with these in a fair knot, So it cometh from you. Waikato.
