Wool, hides, and skins—We quotn t Hides, at from 2d to 3£d per Ib; pkins, Is 2d td 3s 3d. Cattle : Tho supply has been up to the average. At the Newmarket yards, on Tuesday, cattle of all classes were yarded in full numbers' and in every > class there wat an adwvncn on late quotations. Dairy cattle ware in requost at from £6 to £817s 6d. Stores, in good demand. Fat, cattle were yarded in full numbers. Bfdding was brisk, and everything sold at an advance of 20-i per head on previous Tuesday's prices.A,c Papakura, on Wednesday, there was an average number, and tho same demand tnat was experienced on Tuesday was fully sustained. There i? an unsatisfied demand for young cattle of b6th sexes, while first-cUss* dairy cows 'are' siiught ftfter. Sheep: The supply watf scarcely up to the average, and for good- fat sheep of till descriptions an advance of from 2d 3s* pur head was given. Lambs iv short supply, and consequently advanced in price. Pigs: A huge number of good dairy-fed porkers were brought forward and sold well.

At Pnkekohe, on Monday, there was a full inu-ter of stuck, particularly calve*, And for this clasid of stuck there was a good inquiry throughout the- sale, and higher prices than for seme weeks. Dairy cows were also numerous, but lower in price. At the special sale at Bell and Martyns residence on Wednesday, there was a numerous attendanca, and jjood prices throughout. At Remnera, on Thuisday, dairy cowa were in steady demand, at late values. Fat calves wero plentiful, and better worth. Fat cattle "were in full number, and prices steidy throughout the sale at a slight advance over liV^t week's values. Sheep were short of u,-.ual requirements, and better worth.
