The European Powers have issued a collective note to Greece, stating if she is obdurate and persists in her demands, the combined fleet will be immediately despatched to Greek waters. The Greek Premier refused to yield, and the Greek fleet sailed at daybreak to-day under sealed orders. The Powers, especially Germany, are supporting England in the stand she has taken against Greece. Sofia, January 25. Mr T. Sanoff, the Bulgarian Minister of Foreign Affairs, has left for Constantinople in order to negotiate in favour of the union of Bulgaria and Roumelia. It is announced that Prince Alexander has received a letter from the Czar of Russia in reference to the | difficulty in the Balkan States. The communication is stated to be couched in courteous terms.
