' The cricket match betw een the Australian Eleven and a fifteen of New South Wales, was lesumed to-day. The Eleven resumed their first Innings, which closed for 292, and the stamps were then drawn for the clay. The score of the Fifteen of New SouMi Wales in the first innings reached 374. The follow inir is the score of the Australian Eleven :— First innings : Bannerman, b, 1 ; McDounel, c, 47 ; Murduch, c. 52; Giffin, b, 21 ; Bonuor, < b, 6 ; Midwinter, b, 43 ; Blackham, run', out, 6 ; Alexander, b, 12 ; Palmer, c, 11 ; Boyle, not out, 44 ; Cooper, b, 15 ; extras, 14 ; total, 272. Jan. 29. The cricket match between the Australian team and a fifteen of New South Wales was continued here to day. The former being 102 behind their opponents, followed on their innings, and when the stumps were drawn for the day scored 200, for the loss of 3 wickets The match was therefore drawn for want of time. At the cricket match, the Australian team v. New South Wales, topay, the former had lost six wickets for 327 runs when the stumps were drawn (not three tor 200, as previously telegraphed). The following are the scores : —Bannerman, c 81 ; McDonnell, b 24; Murdoch, b 22 ; Giffin, c 58 ; Midwinter, b 17 ; Bonner, c 64 ; Boyle, not out, 16 ; Blackham, not out, 45 : total, 327. -
(Received January 30th, 5 p.m.) Adelaide, January 30. Arrived, last evening : The Orient steamship Garonne from Plymouth with the mails via Suez and Brindisi, M'hich left London on Decembtr 21. The South Australian Advertiser estimates that thet-e will be fully 320,000 bushels of wheat available this season fo r -port fiom South Australia.
