Whatawhata.
The annual meeting of householders took place in the school-house on Monday evennig la«.t. The Chairman of the out-going committee, Mr D.iy, read the balance-sheet for the year, and also stated that there was every probability of the school being made a half-time school unless parents pent their children more regularly. The following were elected a school committee for the year : — Messrs Day, Swanson, Iwerson, Ferguson, Calder, Shepherd, and Dawson. Mr Day was elected chairman.
