Kihikihi.
The annual meeting of householdeis to elect a .school committee was held in the Town Hall on Monday night. The attendance in point of numbers exceeded anything of the kind known in pievious yeaife. Mi J. Hulclunson was elected to the chair. The chiefs Rewi, Hetere, and some of their followers voted. The following aye the members returned by ballot, viz. :—Me^sr-5: — Me^sr-5 Grace, Blencow, Moncrieff, MacDonnell, Kay, Berry and Farrell.
At the first meeting of the new committee Mr W. H. Grace was re-elected chaiiinan.
