The annual meeting of hcraseholders for this school district was held in the schoolroom on Monday last. The accounts (audited and signed by the Government auditor) were read and passed, after which the following settlers were elected as a committee for the ensuing year : — Measrs Abbott, Alexander, Graham, Hall, Hinton, OBrien and Washer. The fir<-t meeting of the new committee was subsequently held, at which Mr Alexander was re-elected chairman, and Mr Hall treasurer.
