Theki: is nothing new from the In 11 to-day. Crushing for the New Find, which was to have commenced next Monday, will now have to be delayed, the men on the tramway having refused to work for 8s a d.iy. It i» proposed now to get men from Auckland, or failing that to let a contiact for the delivery of the quartz from the mine hoppers to the battery at .so much a truck. It is hoped that the latter course may be adopted, as it may lead to themoie efficient and the cheaper working of the tramway. Several tenders were received to-day for the erection of the tailing mill building. The machinery is being bupplied by Price Bros., of the Thames, and the whole is to be up and ready to start in two months from the pie&ent time.
