Chinese Gordon's Mission. Cairo, January 24. It has transpired that Colonel Gordon has been compelled to abandon the idea of proceeding to Khartoum by way of Souakim, ou the Red Sea, owing to the roads by that route being in possession of the rebels. He lias consequently decided to go via Koroskoa, a town on the Nile, in North Nubia. This is, actually, the only road that is open. He expects that he will starfr on this mission in a day or two.

Illness ot the Emperor William. Berlin, January 24. The Emperor William is confined to the palace through indisposition. The state of His Majesty's health has caused some anxiety.
