The New Bankruptcy Act. Auckland, Wednesday Night. M b.Justice Gillies gave lather an important decision to-duy in legai-d to the new Bankruptcy Act. The application was made for the adjudication of a debtor named Thomas Glover, who, it appeared, had no assets. His Honour nded that when there is no estate to be distiibuted ad\antage cannot be taken of the act. In a case fiom Taianaki, suit being to rccovei funds pi iced by the tinstees in the hands of Mr Halse, sohoitoi for investment, the judge ruled that the trustees were liable for the default in such case.
