Melbourne, January 22. A CASE of suspected lobbeiy and minder is reported to have occuireil near Geelong. Francis Beech, farmer, living at PettavH, was found to have been nnudered in his house, and his wife was in a dying state. The house liad been ransacked throughout. No arrests have yet been made.
Mclbouhnk, January 22. Sailed this afternoon : The Union for the BlufF.
January 23. The New South Wales estimated expenditure for the ensuing year was tabled in Parliament last evening. The total estimated expendituie is £7,710,000, against £0,810,000 last year, an increase of £793,000.
Sydney, January "22. The coasting steamer Richmond, 240 tons, has gone aground on the bar at tho entrance to Pott Macquarrie. All the passengers and crew vein landed safely.
