The fust monthly meeting of the Kihikihi Town District Board was hold on Satin day last. Piesent : Mi Fauell (chairman), Crs. Beiry, Vemei. Berry and Tristram, tenders are to be called for drainage, culverts, and formation of Grey and Atkinson-street. HEKBERr-bruEEr.— On the motion of Crs. Wilkinson and Verner, it was agreed that repairs are to bo immediately executed in this street. Town Endowxmexts. — On the motion of Cr. Wilkinson, it was resolved that the chairman be ieque=>ted to take such steps as he may deem necessary to have certxin allotments and reserves vested in the board HBis endowments for the town. The Spread of Fukze. — The clerk was 'directed to notify property owners, who had furze and briars growing on the roads, to have the same grubbed up and removed. Registry of Dogs.— On the motion of Cr. Verner, Mr Forbes Gordon was appointed dog registrar. The sum of £G 6s 3d was received from the Property-tax Commissioners for rates due on Crown lands in the township. — This concluded the business.
