Sir Colin, dark chestnut, pure-bred CKyttesdate home, rising four yeavs ; has immense bone, combined with splendid action. The following pedigree will show that he is bred from the best> stock :— He is out of Kate 111., by Sir Coliu Campbell ; Kate, by Campsie 111. (imported) ; Kate, by Napoleon (imported), was the champion mare of New Zealand. For further pedigree see Canterbury Stud Book. Sir Coliu was bred by Mr Holley, Canterbury, and is a sure foal getter. Mares cau be arranged to be guaranteed. He will also only cover a limited number of mares. Sir Colin was shown against all comers at the Auckland Show, as a two and three-year-old, taking both first-class prizes, beating high-priced imported stock belonging to Messrs Maclean. This proves Sir Colin to be one of the best that can be bred. He will travel the Waikato district.
