PUBLIC NOTIFICATION. To the Ratepayers of the Cambridge Highway District. AT A MEETING of the Waikalo Cennty Council, held on Friday, the sth day of August, 1881, it was unanimously resolved to approve and confirm a resolution passed by Ratepayers of the Cambridge Highway District at a meeting held on Wednesday, the 20th day of July, 1881, at Hautapu, to STOP A ROAD hereunder described, and with the consent of the owners, Messrs Graham and Ewen, to take land in lieu thereof for A NEW ROAD. I, Samuel Sargent Graham, Chairman of the Cambridge Highway District Board, do hereby Publicly Notify, in terms of Sec. 4 Sub.Sec. n. of "The Public Works Act, 1880," that the said road has in every respect been legally stopped, and that from henceforth it shall cease to be a Public Highway.

SCHEDULE. All the pieces or parcels of land undermentioned, situate m the Survey District of Hamilton, Provincfal District of Auckland, commencing at a point in the road line which traverses Allotment No. 1. A — Containing s 1 rood 21 perches : Bounded, north-easterly by lines 173, 53, 44, and U 7 links respectively ; thence south-westerly by a line 239 links ,• thence westerly by a line to commencing point 275 links.
