SALE OF FEDEGREE SHEEP AT WARTLE.
Mr J. S. Bcckland sold at auction, at Wartle, on Thursday, the flock of pure-bred Lincolnshire sheep, the property of Mr Patrick Leslie. There was a good attendance of buyers from various parts of the district, and the prices realised were, on the whole, satisfactory. The, gross weight of paper used for the number was upwards of 120 tons, and 400,000 was the number of copies issued. Net profit, £25,000.
