During the last fortnight improvement ia many of the mines has .taken place, and a more general) feeling aa to, the ultimate success of the field pervades the minds of the men working here. . I have in this letter more ' particularly to report, upon the, $hotover Claim, Wainright, Cogswell, and party. This claim is situated about, f of a-raile south of the Prospectors and, to the East of the Eureka Claim. The shareholders hare kept steadily at work for the hist two months ; ten men's ground being fully manned, good indications have been met with from the, first which, will account -for the constant carrying on of operations.
