Auckland, Last Night.
A photographer gained Zainbra fell from the wharf on to the deck of a, schooner, and sustained injuries to his skull which are believed to be fatal. Mr Donnelly, of Tauranga, while forking hay on a stack, fell and broke his collarbone. A deputation from the Thames and Coromandel interviewed Mr Rolleston, to make a grant for roads in the Tiki and Thames districts. Mr Rolleston replied that though most anxious to open the Tiki, he could not hold out any hope of a grant except on the pound for pound system.
