Wellington. Last Night.
Henry Anderson, journalist, threw himself off the wharf. He was rescued with difficulty in sin exhausted state, and taken to the hospital. He lias been in depressed spirits for some time. The Grand Lodge of representatives of Oddfellows' met again this afternoon. The proceedings were purely formal. Dr Skae's examination before the Asylum Commission was concluded this afternoon. This concluded the evidence in support of the Management of Institution. At 'the next sitting-day the complainant will bring forth rebutting evidence. Efforts are being made in volunteer circles to hold an encampment at Easter. A meeting of officers is called for this evening to consider the matter.
