Somewhat serious disturbances occurred to- Day at Alderghot. A drunken Irish soldier was being arrested by the police, when a number of civilian sympathisers endeavored to prevent his being taken into custody. A riot ensued and lasted for some time, but was finally quelled by fresh bodies of police arriving on the soene find overpowering the rioters, a number of whom were arreoted. In the House of Commons the consideration of supply if receiving rapid progress. The Irish members are abstaining from ob« etruction.
