Oamaru, Tuesday.
The Governor arrived yesterday and after inspecting the harbour works and the grain stores, Avas entertained at luncheon. He expressed himself highly pleased with the harbour works. The Premier, replying to the toast of "The Parliament," said among other things that proper facilities for shipping produce will be the turning point In the practicability of competing with America, and New Zealand farmers must see that they had these facilities.
